Long Overdue

Sadly, I have neglected my blog... =(

But I must say that I have some good reasons:
1) My husband and I had been out of town - Colorado Springs - It was beautiful!

2) We had puppies!!! Well ok, we didn't, my dogs did...

Aren't they precious!?!?!

Which brings me to my craft... 
The puppies actually were born the morning before we got back from Colorado, therefore our friends David & Casey and my Mom took good care of my momma dog and the puppies while we were away. So, I made a little thank you for them being so TEA-rrific!

I know I am a day late, but yesterday was busy with the church, Mavs game (which we dominated the lakers), and Mother's Day festivity's but...

Special thanks to my mother! She is means so much to me and I don't tell her enough! She never quits, I don't know where she finds the energy and time to do all the things she does for me, my brothers, our church, her husband, etc. Thank you mom, for being you!! I love you!

Hello! So far I'm keeping up with my blog! Granite, it is only the second day. Ha!

I thought today I would share some jewelry I made about a month ago. I made them as birthday presents, and now that I have finally gifted them all, I can share them! =)

My blog is finally here....

I have been talking about making a blog for a while now, and I'm finally getting around to it. I came up with many excuses not to... "who would even bother reading," "I'm not an eloquent writer," "what do I have to contribute," "What happens when I don't keep up with it,"... the list goes on.

But I've decided enough with the excuses and even if nobody reads the blog, its a good way to express myself and journal my different crafts.

So I have many crafts put away in my "file cabinet", but this one I made today and I have to say it is one of my favorites so far. So enjoy!

I started with a old cutting board I found at the thrift store and painted over it...

I then added EAD Designs Retro Spring Rub-ons

Then, found some cute fabric and made a pillow...

And put it all together....
